I have a question about the use of the term “austism spectrum.” I’ve read pieces that argue that spectrum doesn’t quite capture the way autism is experience. Can you speak to hat a bit?

Are there any activities that you might recommend (or sources to point towards those activities) that would be age-appropriate prior to class to try and help fulfill some sensory seeking needs to better enable a person to focus during class?

Walking the hall before sitting down or when getting overwhelmed. I'm a special educator of 15 years as well.
